12.09.09 – Elie Book Ending – From the Depths of a Mirror…

English Objective: Students will be able to write diary entries from the voice of Elie Wiesel to capture Elie’s feelings, thoughts, and reactions at the moment when he looks in the mirrror and sees the corpse gazing back at him.

Technology Objective: Students will be able to format text in MS Word.

Getting Focused: Describe the affect that Elie’s relationship with his father has had on him during his experiences in the concentration camps. How role has this relationship had? Be specific.
