Get Involved!

Now is the time to get involved in TBA and your community!  What do you want to do this year to make a positive contribution to your school and your community?  There are numerous opportunities to extend your learning outside the walls of your classes.  Please continue to frequently visit this page for new opportunities and send Ms. Cirigliano additional opportunities you want to share with others.   We’ll use this page as a forum to share ways to get involved with one another!

 

 

How Can I Get Involved at TBA?  We are so thrilled that you asked!  There are countless ways that you can get invovled at TechBoston Academy.  Do you want to play sports, support sports, write poetry, plan and create the school yearbook, tutor your peers, ect.  Here are some current opportunities available to you.  If you are looking to get involved but don’t see your interest listed then seek out one of your teachers and discuss the new ideas you have!  The best opportunities are created by our stellar students.

Fall Sports:  Boys Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Football, Cheerleading

Winter Sports: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Track

Spring Sports: Baseball, Softball, Track

Sports Supporters – Ms. Cirigliano will be working with interested students to create an athletic advisory committee to enhance school spirit and promote student participation in supporting our programs.  ***We are currently working to introduce a homecoming dance this fall.  To make this happen we need student participation and support.  We will be raffling a pair of Patriots tickets to raise money for this event.  Please see Ms. Cirigliano to help plan the dance, help sell raffle tickets, and/or to buy tickets! 

Poetry Club:  The TBA Poetry Club was created 3 years ago by you – the students of TBA!  We need to keep this club thriving to support your ideas and voices.  Please see Ms. Cirigliano & Ms. Derstine for more information and to get involved,

Tutoring - Do you want to share your knowledge and passion for a particular subject with your peers?  Stop in the tutoring center in the library to ask Ms. Payne and Ms. Fleming how you can get involved!
